Corporate Hearing Screening Test
Why Corporate Hearing Screening?
Consequences of Untreated Hearing Loss in Adults
Without intervention, hearing loss in adults may contribute to higher unemployment rates (or lower levels of employment), social isolation, loneliness, and social stigma. Age-related hearing loss is significantly associated with cognitive decline, and it increases the risk for cognitive difficulties and/or dementia. Adults with hearing loss also experience a greater incidence of annual hospitalizations.
Industrial Hearing Screenings
Industrial hearing screening tests are crucial in preventing occupational injuries, improving the overall work environment, and avoiding potential legal issues for the company. With regular screening, early signs of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) can be detected, and appropriate measures can be taken to prevent or slow the progression of this condition. NIHL is irreversible and considered an occupational hazard.
